Quiller Dragon!

Arrr...  I loved creating this piece! It was too much fun to make a dragon with flames.  Purple flames that is.
I tried to make the letters look a little singed by being burnt, however, I was a little worried that it obscured the text... it says CMG. It is a little easier to read in real life, but still I don't think I would make that choice again.  Anyhoo, how fun!

Quiller Logo

This piece is very large at 18 x 36 and was created for a company's office.  This is the logo for the company Plant Therapy,  which I was very happy to make for them.

This is a picture of the piece still in progress.  Though it is difficult to see in the picture I used a variety of greys inside the text in interesting patterns.  I also used watercolour for the background of this piece, which I really think finishes the pieces in a way that I find much more satisfying than just using paper.

If you are interested in having the logo of your company quilled, contact me on my etsy site, ACOCC.

Quiller Ocean Currents...

This piece is a variation on a piece very similar to this, however this is 11 x 14 and it is also features current patterns that are based on real currents in the ocean.  I really liked the challenge of this piece and had a lot of fun researching current patterns and how to make it still look interesting as a quilled piece.

Quiller Sax...

This piece was inspired by a trumpet that I created that looked very similar. After seeing this My Hubby thinks I need to do a piece with two violins and a saxophone and call it "Sax and Violins". Hardy har har...
